Getting Around London
London Underground
Better known as ‘The Tube', the London Underground is one of the best metro train systems in the world. If you ever miss a ‘tube,’ don’t sweat it. They run every few minutes.
On foot
London is a very spread out city, so don’t expect to be able to walk everywhere. To explore the city by foot, some fantastic areas to walk around include St James Park and South Bank.
Bus
London’s red double decker buses are a signature of the city. If you’d prefer the slower scenic route, the city’s buses are a great alternative to the Tube, and cover most of the central area.
Other
Avoid peak hour traffic on the ground by travelling in the air on the Emirates Air Line. The ten minute gondola lift travels across the Thames, offering an incredible view of the city.
