One of the world's best railway experiences
One of the world's most scenic railways, the Rocky Mountaineer runs on four separate routes through British Columbia and Alberta in Canada's majestic mountain region. Renowned for its breathtaking views of the soaring Rockies and the wildlife within, the Rocky Mountaineer is regularly voted one of the world's best railway experiences.
The Rocky Mountaineer operates four distinct routes, each showcasing some of Canada's most spectacular scenery. The First Passage to the West runs from Vancouver to Banff or Calgary via Kamloops and takes in sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding mountainside. The Journey Through the Clouds travels from Vancouver via Kamloops to the ski resort town of Jasper, while the Rainforest to Gold Rush service from North Vancouver via Whistler and Quesnel through Prince George to Jasper glides from coastal rainforests past crysal-clear mountain lakes all the way to the Canadian goldfields. The Whistler Sea to Sky Climb is a return day trip from North Vancouver to Whistler and a popular way to experience the sights within a limited timeframe.
