Be surrounded by beautiful scenery, friendly locals and tropical ocean
Fiji is an aquatic playground. Popular pastimes here include lapping up luxury at beachfront resorts, cruising and hopping through the Yasawa Islands. Try diving amid coral gardens and a host of marine life on the many reefs and surfing waves of legend off the Mamanuca Islands. Jet boating up the Sigatoka River is an option too.
Catamarans
A good pampering with delicious-smelling lotions can be had at spas within the upmarket resorts. For shopping, try the craft markets in Nadi or Suva. There are tours to traditional villages – tourism is important to the local economy – and you'll likely have the chance to try the local drink 'kava'. It looks like dirty water but has a taste, and sensation, all its own!
