Accommodation In Brunei
Discover Brunei's diverse capital city
Bandar Seri Begawan (Bandar) is a culturally rich capital city with a strong connection to the country's 600-year-old monarchy. As the most popular destination in the country, Bandar comes prepared to welcome numerous visitors of all walks of life, thanks to its wide range of hotels.
Attractions are spread out around the city, with the Royal Regalia Building in the centre, the Jame'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque slightly out and the Jerudong Park further out still. Accommodation is comprised mainly of independent varieties such as The Brunei Hotel and The Capital Residence Suites, with the Radisson representing international chains.
Coastal fun at Kuala Belait
Brunei's second largest city, Kuala Belait is absolutely blessed with its location right on the coast. It welcomes you with a beach and quaint port area, along with a cosy seaside feel. When it comes to accommodation, options are limited compared to the far bigger capital city. However, you can still find quality hotels such as the V Plaza Hotel positioned right on the water.
You can also stay at the Hotel Sentosa, which boasts spacious rooms and a good proximity to restaurants. For onsite facilities, you may want to check out the Sea View Hotel where you can enjoy a restaurant, gym and pool without having to leave the complex.
Kampong Jerudong's beachfront paradises
Located slightly north of the capital city, on the country's coast, Kampong Jerudong is a popular escape for tourists and locals from the city alike. Easily the most popular and renowned hotel is The Empire Hotel & Country Club, which gives new meaning to the word grandeur with its private beachfront, lagoon pool and opulent furnishings.
The beach itself is a popular attraction for visitors, allowing you to seek a bit of privacy on its crowd-free shoreline. If The Empire is outside your price range, there are plenty of more affordable options available including the Star Lodge, Jeruton Hotel and the Goodview Hotel.
