Embrace resort living

The Vijitt Resort has plenty in the way of activities and entertainment, ensuring you never need to venture far from your villa. With a sprawling location on Friendship Beach, one of the most popular activities at Vijitt is exploring Phuket’s marine life. At low tide the resort hosts an expert guided Beach Marine Walk along the soft sand, where you can see and learn about the region’s local inhabitants. Similarly, the resort also offers a Botanical Walk where you can explore the lush 18 acre site. For something more relaxed, don’t miss experiencing the resort’s V Spa. Featuring exclusive treatment rooms and outdoor pavilions, a treatment at the spa will see you truly slow down and embrace serene island living. After a traditional Thai massage or indulgent body wrap or treatment, you can enjoy a soothing soak in the spa or steam room before returning back to your heavenly villa.

Take to the trees

Away from the resort, Phuket offers a whole range of unique attractions. Some of these can be found within the Kathu district, north of The Vijitt Resort. This tropical section of the island is home to incredible hinterland including the spectacular Kathu Waterfall. On a hot day this waterfall is a popular spot to swim under and enjoy Phuket’s natural elements. For a difference perspective, you can admire the lush vegetation of Kathu at Flying Hanuman. This eco adventure tour involves a thrilling zip line located 40 metres above the jungle. While incredibly fun and freeing, the tour also offers a glimpse of Phuket’s jungle canopy and the opportunity to learn more about the island’s incredible eco-system. One you’ve flown through the air, your tour will then end with a Thai meal at the onsite restaurant.
