Getting to Budapest

Most cheap flights to Budapest originate in Europe however Qatar Airways does offer a one stop connection from Australia through Doha. Flying time on this route is approximately 21 hours from Melbourne.

Flights to Budapest include one-stop service on Qatar Airways from Melbourne or Perth via their hub in Doha, Qatar. Virgin Australia in conjunction with its code share partner Air Berlin serves Budapest with connections in Abu Dhabi and Berlin.

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD)

Budapest Airport is Hungary’s largest and busiest airport with international flights serving mainly Europe and the Middle East. The airport consists of three separate terminals with all international carriers using either Terminal 2A or 2B. Driving distance to the city centre is approximately 15 kilometres. Qatar Airways is the only airline serving both Australia and Budapest.
