Accommodation in The Netherlands
Up all night in Amsterdam
Why check into a hotel room at all when you're in Amsterdam – one of Europe's most exciting cities and the administrative capital of The Netherlands? The city is one of Europe's most popular destinations and with its stunning canal-crossed cityscape and vibrant nightlife, it's not hard to see why.
If you must bed down for the night, much of Amsterdam's most convenient accommodation is located in its busy Old Centre. Many make use of the city's picturesque canals, including the Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam and Sofitel's The Grand Amsterdam.
Sail in for a Rotterdam stay
One of the world's largest ports, Rotterdam's status as a maritime city is reflected in its cosmopolitan composition. A city largely rebuilt in the decades after World War II, today Rotterdam offers a heady mix of striking architecture and a distinctly maritime air.
Despite the relative youth of many of its buildings, Rotterdam nevertheless possesses some of the more stately Netherlands accommodation on offer. The Bilderberg Parkhotel Rotterdam occupies a prime position in the heart of the city, while the Manhattan Hotel Rotterdam is home to some of the city's most opulent rooms.
Spend some time in the south
Located in the heart of western Europe, The Netherlands unsurprisingly borrows heavily from the cultures around it. That's no more the case than in Limburg, the country's southern-most province slivered between neighbouring Belgium and Germany.
Limburg is not only one of The Netherlands' most diverse provinces, it's also home to the picturesque Maastricht. Renowned as one of the prettiest cities in the country, its Crowne Plaza Maastricht overlooks the River Maas, while the unique Kruisherenhotel is housed in a converted gothic monestery.
