Accommodation In Kuta
The five-kilometre-long beach at Kuta was originally used predominantly by surfers, but it has since been built up into one of Bali’s most-popular beach destinations. This is largely due to the well-maintained and safe nature of the area, which still has plenty of surfers, but now also features all the fun and excitement that’s made Bali a tourist hotspot.
Kuta’s beach is no stranger to luxurious hotels and you can find a healthy range that suits most tastes. The Bali Mandari is literally metres from the sparkling water, but you may find it hard to walk further than the resort’s tropical pool and poolside bars.
Although Kuta has an array of high-end hotels and resorts, there’s still no need to spend more than you can afford thanks to the range of budget-friendly accommodation. You can receive quality lodgings for a low price that allows you to spend your money elsewhere such as on surfing lessons, out at the many bars and clubs, or on scuba diving trips.
You can find good-value accommodation at the Waringin Homestay, which is close to the beach and features simple, yet comfortable rooms. There’s also the Hawaii Bali Kuta and the Ibis Bali Kuta, which are both premium 3-star hotels.
Kuta’s romantic accommodation
Despite often being overrun by chaotic crowds, Kuta can take you away from the busy streets and plant you in a serene and private environment within the confines of your hotel. Whether you’re relaxing on plush bedding in your room, lounging in a pool or sharing drinks with the ocean right outside, there are so many ways to invoke romance while in Kuta.
The Discovery Kartika Plaza knows how to heat up a holiday with couple’s spa treatments and beachfront rooms. You can also stay at the Fontana Hotel, where intimacy can be found in elegant rooms and a secluded swimming pool.
